Capture and Render

Use the render panel to frame the scene and capture images. Try the controls below — the result is simulated.

  1. Open the render panel

In the 3D editor toolbar, click "Render". The floating panel opens over the canvas — drag it by the header and resize it from the corner.

  2. Pick resolution / aspect

The selector sets the framing. The dark frame over the scene shows exactly the area that will be captured.

  3. Adjust the lens (FOV)

Pick a lens (18–85mm) or the slider. Short lenses widen the angle; long ones zoom in and flatten perspective.

  4. Position the observer

In the diagram, drag the eye and target (top view) and adjust the heights (side view). The Target Height / Observer Height fields also accept values.

  5. Near / far clip

The Near Clip "sees through" walls between the camera and the subject without removing them from mirror reflections. The Far Clip limits depth.

  6. Composition grid

Toggle the grid (rule of thirds) to align the framing.

  7. Capture

Pick the method (Fast or AI Render) and click Capture. The shot lands in the strip and you move to the next angle. (Here the result is simulated.)
